SUMMER YELLOW BLOG: LEADER SCAVENGER HUNT
Children learn many things from the adults in their lives and through their own experiences. When they spend time socializing with other children, they will also pick up things by observing their peers. As they are exposed to other kids interacting with each other and solving problems, their own understanding of the world is broadened.
This week the Puppet Pals are learning new ways to be leaders, by watching each other. They get to work with partners on a Leader Scavenger Hunt, looking for others acting like leaders in a variety of ways. They try to find someone giving a compliment, learning something new or being a good friend, just to name a few.
As your children watch these videos, we hope they will learn some valuable social and emotional skills by making connections to the puppets. You can run off the Leader Scavenger Hunt and let them try to do the same by observing others in their own worlds.
