Week 13: Appreciating Others-
It can be a challenge teaching our kids to appreciate others in a world that is so focused on “me, me, me.” There are many people in their lives who help, encourage, support, and care for them. Building that social awareness is the first step in appreciating others. Then they can learn ways to express appreciation to the people who make their world a better place.
This week the Puppet Kids work on a project that focuses on appreciating people in their home, school, neighborhood, and community. They come up with ways to show their appreciation through
- Respecting others and their property
- Caring for others
- Expressing thanks
- Showing affection
These videos can prompt conversations so your children can recognize and appreciate people in their own lives. Kids can test their appreciation skills by watching the next episode of that popular game show What Would A Leader Do?
